The Town of Hempstead is hosting a 25th-anniversary 9/11 sunrise memorial ceremony at Town Park Point Lookout on September 11 at 7:30 a.m. The event will feature local officials, first responders, and families gathering…
💡 Five Town Homes & Living — Residents living near the Point Lookout park should anticipate significant traffic congestion and restricted parking access on the morning of September 11 as the town manages the influx of attendees for the ceremony. Homeowners in the immediate vicinity may want to adjust their morning commute schedules or delivery expectations to account for temporary road closures or increased emergency vehicle presence near the shore. **We encourage property owners to monitor official Town of Hempstead traffic alerts to ensure they can navigate the area efficiently during this time of remembrance.**
Honoring the legacy of our neighbors at the shore.
